Words to Remember
This wallet commemorates the words of Captain James Lawrence, in command of USS Chesapeake in 1813. Mortally wounded during her legendary duel with Captain Philip Broke's HMS Shannon, his exhortation, "Don't give up the ship!" became the official motto of the fledgling United States Navy.
"Excellence in Simplicity"
The 1762 Wallet is inspired by the clean, purposeful lines of the Brown Bess musket. Like its namesake, it’s built with balance, utility, and a clear sense of form. Every element serves a function — nothing is added without reason.
The layout is straightforward: two card slots, an open center section for overflow storage, and a rear flap designed to hold folded cash securely in place. It carries what’s needed and keeps bulk to a minimum.
This particular wallet makes use of rich navy blue dyed through Rocado shell cordovan.
Slim and easy to carry, the 1762 fits neatly in the pocket and feels solid in the hand. Edges are finished with care, lines are smooth and deliberate. It’s a wallet made for those who prefer simple, well-executed design over needless detail.
This is a completed and ready to ship item.
