About The Maker

My name is Wyatt Moadus, and I'd like to be your maker.

For most of my adult life, I was a car painter. My family owned and operated an independent paint shop since the 90's and there I learned how to manage and run a business.

At my wife's suggestion, I started leatherworking as a hobbyist in early 2016. By the end of that year I was selling wallets online and in person at local maker's markets and shows. I spent the next six years honing my technical skills and growing my business organically.

In 2022 I made a big decision to pursue leatherwork as a full time career; it is a blessing to get to do what I love every single day from the comfort of my own workshop.

When I am not at the workbench I enjoy writing, collecting and restoring antiques (typewriters, as of late) and enjoying the many things the greater Youngstown area has to offer.
