"Beauty in Imperfection"

"Kintsugi" is the traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery. Instead of trying to hide the cracks, they are filled with gold to highlight the beauty that comes from time and wear. 

My method is a reproduction of the visual style, done by hand using foil and heat. I let the tool wander and it follows whatever path it desires. The end results sometimes line up, and sometimes don't. I just let it happen and put the pieces together, trusting that it will all be beautiful in its own way. 

"Excellence in Simplicity"

The 1762 Wallet is inspired by the clean, purposeful lines of the Brown Bess musket. Like its namesake, it’s built with balance, utility, and a clear sense of form. Every element serves a function — nothing is added without reason.

The layout is straightforward: two card slots, an open center section for overflow storage, and a rear flap designed to hold folded cash securely in place. It carries what’s needed and keeps bulk to a minimum.
