This compact card wallet is made from famous Horween Marbled Black Shell Cordovan, with a mix of finished and reversed in play on opposing sides of the wallet. Tanned in the United States’ oldest operating tannery in Chicago, IL, this wallet is truly made at home.
Featuring two card slots on the front and a nickel plated money clip on the rear, this wallet comes in at only 3″ x 4″ and is very slim at the edge.
NOTE: This is a minimalist option for light carry. If you are carrying more than 3 cards at a time, it will be difficult to use until it has had ample (and I mean ample) time to stretch.
This is a wallet for an individual who is able to limit what they need to carry. It would be ideal for a night on the town where just an ID, a credit card and some bills are all that is required, or some variation thereof. I’m sure you can imagine the scenario.
Being made solely from shell cordovan does also mean that we get a beautifully dense and rich burnished edge, looking almost like a well worn piece of wood.
Like everything I make, it is hand stitched with waxed polyester thread in the traditional leatherworker’s saddle stitch. This thread resists abrasion and will keep the wallet looking beautiful (and strong) for many years of use and wear.
