Tailored for EDC needs

This is a brand new design from me with input provided from the EDC crowd. Many thanks to the kind folks in the Machined Pens Discord chat for their thoughts! If you are familiar with the Topsider series of wallets from Opensealeather, this should be a very easy wallet to become familiar with.

This particular wallet is made from famous American tanned Horween Chromexcel leather, in gorgeous deep Olde English.

A single piece of leather forms the body of the wallet, consisting of the back, flap, and the front card slot and closure. Two additional pockets inside give some additional divider space to separate your cards and bills.

The flap serves multiple purposes: both to protect and retain the contents of the wallet, but also as a means to store your bills in an easy fashion. When stowed, bills fold along the length of the flap when closed and unfold to lay flat against it when open. This allows you to easily sort your paper currency when the wallet is open but still lets the wallet condense into a compact form to fit in your pocket. The right side of the wallet is open to allow easy insertion or removal of bills as needed.

Like everything I make, it is hand stitched with machine bonded polyester thread for superior durability and abrasion resistance.

The name of this wallet is an homage to my grandfather, whose stories were a huge influence on me as I grew up. He served in the US Navy in the Pacific theater during World War II aboard the destroyer escort DE-22, USS Wileman.
