My classic Mid Wallet design in all its simple beauty. In keeping with my love of monotone theming I did this run of wallets all in olive tones, using olive Dakota from Conceria La Perla Azzurra and oil-dyed olive Japanese Shinki shell cordovan.

My mid wallet design is the most compact and versatile wallet that I make. In spite of its small size it can easily carry 4-8 cards as well as folded bills or receipts in the hidden slots behind the cards. All this folds down to just 3″ x 4″ in your pocket, making this ideal for any kind of carry situation.

Shinki shell is dense and carries a beautiful shine. Due to the oil dyed finish I chose to burnish all of these wallets with a black dye to produce a consistent color at the edge, which plays nicely with the dark colors of the shell and Dakota. Olive hand stitched polyester thread completes the ensemble.
