Description

It seems like minimalist wallets only get more and more popular as times goes on. The idea of carrying an absolute bare minimum amount of things in your wallet is an appealing idea but many of the popular novelty options leave something to be desired when it comes to appearances. Certainly, carrying your cards in between some elastic strips and pieces of aluminum may be efficient but it’s not exactly elegant, even if it happens to be aircraft grade. Here is my answer to that problem.

This wallet is ideal for a person who needs to carry only 4-5 cards and, but also does not want to compromise on style or appearances. I have condensed the capacity down to four individual card slots, two on each side. This variant does not have an internal opening on the top. Strictly limiting the intended capacity of this wallet allows me to keep it small and, most importantly, very thin: only 3″ x 4″ and 1/8″ thick when empty.

Unlike many other wallets for sale with this same configuration, you have the option of choosing a different color of leather for the inside structure of the wallet. This results in a two-tone effect on the outside edges after burnishing, appearing as a colored stripe down the side of the wallet. This gives you a surprising amount of aesthetic choice for such an otherwise simple little wallet.

These wallets are made with Italian ‘Buttero’ (meaning Cowboy) vegetable tanned leather from Conceria Walpier tannery in Tuscany. Buttero is prized for its rich depth of color, smooth consistent grain finish and patina development over time and use. Every wallet is completely hand stitched with waxed polyester thread, meaning that these features combine to make a wallet that looks beautiful and is also long lasting.

Depending on my queue at the time, it takes me on average 3-4 weeks to fulfill an order. This length of time can be longer if I have a lot of orders ahead but I try to keep my customers appraised of how long they can expect to wait to receive their wallet. When completed, I ship via USPS Priority Mail with insurance.
